Gerard Butler recalls harsh filming conditions of 300, with cast members frequently injured during stunts.

New Delhi, Digital Desk || Gerard Butler has revealed startling details about the physically demanding conditions on the set of the 2006 action film 300. Speaking with People, the actor shared that many cast members sustained injuries while portraying King Leonidas and his Spartan warriors as they fought against the invading Persian army.
Butler, known for his role in The Ugly Truth, recalled, “I remember every day somebody was getting taken to the hospital. You’d be doing a fight scene, and you’d turn around to see a guy down with a spear in his eye. Another time, you’d see someone else who’d fallen and broken his ankle. It was insane.”
Directed by Zack Snyder, 300 is known for its stylized action and intense physicality, requiring the cast to undergo tough training and perform demanding stunts. Butler’s account highlights the extreme challenges the actors faced while bringing the gritty story to life.
Currently, Butler is making headlines for his role in Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, the sequel to the 2018 heist thriller. In this follow-up, Butler reprises his role as Big Nick, a determined Los Angeles cop on a mission to track down a notorious diamond thief, played by O’Shea Jackson Jr.
