New Delhi, Digital Desk || Actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked and stabbed 2-3 times in the early hours of Thursday during a burglary attempt at his Bandra residence by an unidentified man.
After the incident, Saif was rushed to Leelawati Hospital in Mumbai, where he is currently undergoing surgery. During the altercation, Saif sustained injuries. Some of his family members were present at the time of the attack, an official confirmed.
Police have launched a probe to track down the assailant and ensure his arrest. “An unidentified person entered the residence of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, and a fight broke out between them. Saif was injured and is receiving treatment. The investigation is underway,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police, addressing the media.

In a statement, Saif’s team urged the media and fans to remain patient during this difficult time. “There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Khan’s residence. He is currently undergoing surgery in the hospital. We request the media and fans to be patient, as this is a police matter.
