Republic Day 2025 Traffic Advisory for Delhi
In preparation for 26th January (Republic Day) events, traffic congestion is anticipated in South and Central Delhi due to rehearsals. Areas around Kartavya Path and Chhatrasal Stadium are expected to experience significant congestion.
On January 26, Delhi CM Atishi will host National Flag at Chhatrasal Stadium, with ministers, MLA’s, and senior officials attending. To minimize inconvenience, commuters are advised to avoid these areas and opt for alternate routes between 6 AM and 1 PM on both days.

Heavy vehicles entering Delhi via Chilla border will be redirected to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, connecting to Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Trucks from DND border can make a U-turn at toll plaza to join the same route, while vehicles from Kalindi Kunj will be diverted to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway before crossing the Yamuna River.
